The Right Candidate will be:
A hard worker, who can pick up a variety of different tasks & run with them Have a good understanding of G-suite & know how to use this to the best of it's ability. Have an understanding of sales & sales writing would be extremely beneficial, but not essential as training can be provided Be able to be flexible with hours, with some possible weekend or out of ours work, which you will be compensated for. Experience in the following industries would be beneficial, but not essential: Digital, Pubic sector, Learning & Development Available for a quick start Have your own computer & ideally an iPhone for our VOIP software, but you can use your laptop instead. Have your own mobile number Have impeccable english, both spoken & written with the ability to check your own grammar and write clean, short, yet thought provoking email content. - A tip for your proposal would be to write your proposal, as if you were writing it for one of my clients, covering all the points mentioned above & below, explaining your experience and why you are the best candidate for the job. Someone who finishes what they start and will add value with their ideas, knowledge or expertise. Friendly, able to develop a rapport quickly & be able to context switch quickly and efficiently You must have excellent verbal & written communication skills, not be afraid to ask questions if you are unsure on anything & be highly organised. Previous experience in tender writing would be a bonus, but not essential. The ability to sell products and services, although this won't be the main focus of the role, there is the ability to grow into a role that will provide commission on top of your hourly rate, if this is something you are interested in. You should also have brilliant customer service skills, the ability to use your initiative & work well with others, with a persistent and determined attitude. You should be able to accept criticism, work well under pressure & have the ambition & a desire to succeed. Ability to use basic design software would be an added value, but not essential. An understanding of sales, marketing, customer support would also be ideal, but also open for discussion & for the right candidate training on these topics is also available.
The Role
Initially 4 - 5 hours per week, with the view to this increasing relatively quickly for the right candidate You will work closely with our director, picking up email follow up, webinar content, some social media writing, call scheduling, data cleansing, website copy, answering calls, supporting project plans, some customer service. This a diverse role, so there may be more tasks than the above, but we are reasonable with the amount of time tasks take & will set expectations & goals with you for these. The hourly rate is flexible for the right candidate & a discretionary bonus will be available each month, based on workload & achievements each month. We are also open to looking at a sliding pay-scale, so once you have proven yourself the hourly rate can be increased based on performance. The better the work you complete, the more hours & bonus you will achieve. We are looking for someone who can grow into this role, taking on more responsibility as the role progresses. Each week we will availability & tasks will be set either a few days or the evening before they require working on with an agreed expectation of time to deliver. The director is growing the business and manages both the sales and operational side of things and needs someone who can quickly grasp the requirements that day & be able to run with it. You will be using a combination of Gmail, Google docs, Google sheets, Hubspot, Salesforce, Google calendar, Skype, Whatsapp & possibly some more depending on customer needs. Payment will be made monthly at the beginning of each month for work completed the previous month e.g. You would be paid on the first working day of July for any work completed in June. You will need to be able to ask questions & manage your own work load.
