Expected duration: less than 1 week We're looking for extra hands to help with a very simple app that we need recreating in Nativescript (vanilla Typescript + CSS) for iOS and Android devices. It is currently free on the Apple App Store and Google Play (please search for "Stop Smoking In 2 Hours Jason Vale").
Unfortunately, it does not work on all devices anymore, and because it was developed on another platform and we do not have the original development files, we cannot update the existing code.
I've included the key screens as we'd like them to look using a new design concept (described below).
CONCEPT The app takes people through a coaching plan to stop smoking. There are various coaching videos and hypnosis audio tracks that the user needs to watch or listen to in the first week. The main screen has a counter that shows many days since they've stopped smoking.
01. BEFORE YOU START Shown when the user starts the app for the first time. Should include an introduction video and a button to tap to go to the next screen.
02. GET STARTED The user must listen to 3 audio coaching files... these should be in the page view at the bottom of the screen/
03. DAILY VIEW There is a gauge at the top which should fill over the first 28 days. Days 1-5 have a daily coaching video, bedtime hypnosis audio, and the SOS video. From Day 6 there is bedtime hypnosis audio, and the SOS video. From Day 21 there is bedtime hypnosis audio, and a different SOS video.
SETTINGS There also needs to be a settings screen where the user can reset their progress.
MEDIA MANAGEMENT The app should be able to be used offline. This means it needs to download the audio videos as they're too big to bundle with Android.
