I am starting a business, but have yet to launch, I will be selling a product which is a bath mat. I'm working with a manufacturer in Hebei Province, China.
The bath mat is printed using a file that the machine reads, I am not sure if you know much about file types and Photoshop so this may not be relevant to you but in case it is (and it would actually be helpful to work with someone with some level of technical understanding).
The file is a BMP that is made on Photoshop, it has to be set up just right for the machine to read it properly, however recently there has been a lot of problems with the file. Unfortunately for me all my communication with the designer is done through a middle person, it is very slow and the middle person does not have a good grasp of English (the designer cannot speak English at all). Sorry but please write the word egg at the top so that I know you have read everything. It would actually be really helpful if you also happened to have some knowledge of Photoshop and or textile printing.
To speed things up I am wondering if we could go on a 3 way call, where we could also share screens, and for you to translate English to Chinese and vice versa to speed up the fault finding process?
If all goes to plan it would definitely be recurring work, I am expecting the business to grow at a good pace and a lot of communication will be needed with Chinese suppliers. Would this be something you could do?
If yes how much would it be for a 30 minute call or a 1 hour call with me and the supplier where you do all the translations?
