I own and run a small but well-established and successful online retail company, and due to our continued success and investment, I would like to recruit an exceptional eCommerce Data & Content Assistant, to join me on my journey.
I have an IT background and so until now we have done all our website content management ourselves. We are a seasonal business and so I've used my Customer Services team for website updates during quieter months and managed the whole eCommerce platform myself. We have just migrated from M1 to M2. We have three websites and links to our warehouse system, Amazon and eBay (through the M2EPro plugin) and ideally I'd like to outsource the whole management of the website content.
I am open to offers of a company that can provide anything from data entry (at a low hourly rate), to full eCommerce Management (at a higher hourly rate). Or an individual who can offer the whole range.
What I expect from you
I am looking for a highly co-ordinated eCommerce Data & Content Assistant to maintain all the product data on all our company's income-generating sites. This role requires you to continually ensure the accuracy of all the product data, updating the product information, images and cost. You will also be required to contact suppliers to gather precise product data and images for the products we sell
Duties include:
• Website maintenance and administration, managing products and offers • Maintaining and creating listings on 3rd party sales channels • Creative writing for Content optimisation • Ensure data is accurate, organised and available to the wider team • Uploading and improving product data and website content • Carrying out regular checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of product imagery, website copy and product categorisation and page filtering options • Responsibility for monitoring and fixing product data issues to ensure accuracy • Communicate material changes and update product data where necessary • Assist Sales/Customer services staff with technical website issues/fixes
