We are looking for a Content Writer to join our editorial team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides and marketing copy. You’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness. Responsibilities and qualifications are listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, writing, and editing copy in a professional capacity for web projects
- Preparing pages, emails, paragraphs, guidelines, and a range of documents
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Write a clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend improvements
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Qualifications:
- Experience comprised of agency, digital and/or media publishing work
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Native English: written and spoken
Skills:
- Fluent in Google Documentation
- Working knowledge of Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram and Twitter
Education Requirements:
BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
Required hours/day: 5-10 hours a week to start with
Price: $20-50/hour
