I have a rather simply web-page currently which connects to my MySQL server and simply runs;
"SELECT * FROM Firmware ORDER BY idFirmware ASC"
The script then checks the URL's it gets back and populates them in a table with a simple Tick if they're online and a Cross if they're not. Whilst this works, with almost 800 (and growing) links to check, it can take quite a while when all i care about in most instances are the latest additions to the table.
What i would like is for the page to dynamically update. Start at the end of the table, lets say Row 800 and then work backwards, displaying more results as they come in without having to reload the page.
I believe this can be done with Ajax, but this isnt my area of expertise.
I have uploaded the full code (with SQL connection details removed). Whoever takes the project on would need to supply me with code to verify as i cannot give out the SQL server connection details.
The supplied code was a .php page, but PPH does not allow those so i altered the extension to .txt
