Expected duration: 1 - 6 months My name is Makis, I am a programmer myself and the goal of this project is to create a program capable of managing any after-sales management (summed up information of any given order from any given e-shop)
In particular, and to provide a better understanding of the goal here, explaining the project and how it works, will be divided into 3 stages. Basically showcasing the nature of the project and how it is going to operate.
A) Stage one will involve orders from any given e-shop page that operates within Greece! Furthermore, the “destination” of each of these orders, also needs to be Greece only! For “postal” reasons (more will be explained later on). Basically, any individual within Greece who orders something online to be delivered to them, that eshop which they ordered from , must be compatible with our app. Using a plugin (of our design), we will be able to communicate with the said eshop and gather all necessary information about each order.
B) The orders which come through from each website, will undergo a “cross check “ process. That particular stage will basically ensure that all postal services those local websites use, are compatible with our service as well (meaning that we too have “communication” with the same postal services)!
If that is the case, we would only then go ahead and generate a Voucher on behalf of these websites, as well as monitor the status of the said orders (being prepared, on the way, delivered/completed). That is the essence of the service we will be providing.
c) Lastly, when the order is set and ready, the Voucher which is generated, will of course be shared back with each corresponding website that sent in the order info. In turn, they will share this Voucher with the client of course .
To sum up, our goal here is to create a project which will be able to work with any given eshop(within Greece for the time being) , and with their approval establish a back-and-forth communication. They will be sharing with us order info that comes in from clients' orders, which in turn, we will generate a voucher for! Of course, provided that we support the same postal services as we will also be monitoring the delivery of the said products (that is why supporting the same postal services is mandatory! Or at least similar enough that an alternative is acceptable). If those parameters are met, the Voucher will be generated and shared back with each website, and then of course the client.
This particular service is meant to save time from each and every eshop that works with us, since we will be monitoring all their deliveries ! Thus, saving a lot of precious time each day for these people. One last thing to mention, if something is wrong on any given step of the delivery process, we will be monitoring that as well and notifying the people that need to know in order to correct this.
TECHNICAL ASPECT INVOLVED!
All websites that wish to work with us, will need to reach out and ask us to install a plugin (this will allow the constant flow of information of course) . It is of paramount importance that any and all platforms out there, are compatible with our app! Anyone and everyone must be able to “fit” with us like two pieces of a puzzle, in order to be certain that info is exchanged smoothly.
Once that is done, the app will then also collect info regarding the postal services each website uses and each time select the appropriate choice from our end too!
For example:
- Website uses postal service A’ . We also have open communication with the said postal service. Program matches the two and adds info in the Voucher.
- The app uses postal service A’. We do not use postal service A’ but we use postal service B’ which is an acceptable alternative speed wise, cost wise etc. System matches order with Postal service B’
- Website uses postal service A’. We do not use postal service A’ . We use postal service B’ C’ D’ and E’ which are not and acceptable alternative. Our system cancels the process notifying regarding the problem.
Programming languages to be used are as follows:
Backend: PHP – Laravel Frontend: VueJS – Vuetify
All the communications between eshop & postal services will be implemented via REST API. Clients’ needs are mostly OPENCART / WOOCMERCE.
