We are seeking a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer to join our team and work on an innovative web application designed to transform the job search process. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create user-centric designs, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. The project involves designing a web application that simplifies the creation and customization of professional documents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the product manager and development team to define and implement innovative and user-friendly solutions for the web application. 2. Create wireframes, user flows, process maps, and mockups that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas, while ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms and devices. 3. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and validate design concepts, iterating on the designs based on feedback. 4. Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure consistent implementation and adherence to best practices across the application. 5. Present design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions and gathering feedback for improvement. 6. Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure that the web application remains cutting-edge and competitive. 7. Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with the web application's branding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 2. At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing web and mobile applications. 3. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar, and experience with prototyping tools like InVision or Marvel. 4. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices. 5. Familiarity with front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the ability to work closely with developers to implement designs. 6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale. 7. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred (but not required):
1. Experience working on document generation or editing tools. 2. Knowledge of data visualization techniques and best practices. 3. Knowledge of Generative Pre-trained Transformer such as ChatGPT API
