I have received the following message from my Hosting provider.
During daily monitoring, we have found that the backup jobs on the following server are unable to complete fully:
*** My server ***
After checking the logs we found the following error:
[02 April 2023 01:52:08 PM +0000] [ERROR] mysqldump: Error 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query when dumping table `sira9_postmeta` at row: 28892
mysqldump: Couldn't execute 'show table status like 'sira9\_posts'': MySQL server has gone away (2006)
After, further review of the matter it seems that the server is running out of memory quite often:
Apr 2 13:52:08 node4302 kernel: Out of memory: Killed process 14580 (mysqld) total-vm:2627384kB, anon-rss:1453920kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB, UID:27 pgtables:3544kB oom_score_adj:0

Apr 3 01:34:37 node4302 kernel: Out of memory: Killed process 18059 (mysqld) total-vm:3735084kB, anon-rss:901764kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB, UID:27 pgtables:2700kB oom_score_adj:0
Apr 3 09:55:17 node4302 kernel: Out of memory: Killed process 31059 (mysqld) total-vm:3755088kB, anon-rss:2214124kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB, UID:27 pgtables:4952kB oom_score_adj:0
When the server runs out of available memory, the Kernel will kill running services to conserve resources, such as the MySQL service.
Having this issue occur frequently can eventually cause additional issues with the MySQL service such as database corruption.
Additionally, due to the high memory usage, the backup job is unable to complete. We attempted to repair and optimize your databases, however, once again all the available memory on the server was allocated and the optimization was unable to complete. Also, it seems that there are quite a few slow queries on the server:
Please, note that such slow queries not only consume an abnormal amount of resources but also slow down the operations of your website and the environment.
Considering the above, I would suggest one of the following options:
1. Review your databases with the assistance of a certified developer who can optimize them for less resource usage. Once your databases are properly optimized, the excessive resource usage should occur no more and the backup job should complete successfully.
Please put "Rugba League" at the top of your application so I know you have read this properly.
I need someone who can do this for me, and provide a reasonable quote.
