We are looking for a creative and experienced Website Designer & Developer to lead the redesign of our law firm’s website (micahhuggins.com). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Figma and WordPress, with a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of website security best practices. You will work closely with our team to create a visually appealing, highly functional, and fast-loading website that aligns with our brand and enhances our online reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Redesign the current website using Figma to create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes. Develop and implement the new website design on WordPress, ensuring compatibility with existing plugins and WP Engine hosting. Optimize website performance to ensure fast loading times on both desktop and mobile devices, focusing on page speed and overall performance. Integrate a chatbot into the website to enhance user engagement and provide instant support to visitors. Ensure the website is fully responsive, providing an optimal user experience across all devices. Enhance website security to prevent issues such as page hijacking and unauthorized links. Regularly update and maintain the website, including content management, plugin updates, and security patches. Collaborate with the marketing and IT teams to ensure the website aligns with SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to website performance, functionality, or security. Provide training or documentation for staff to manage content and basic website updates.
