Problem: Need to customize checkout for a Shopify store with 36,000 SKUs
Objective: * Customize the checkout process or find a workable solution to address issues caused by our current setup.
Current Situation: * We have 36,000 SKUs. * To simplify management, we use one SKU for all variants. * This approach is causing issues during checkout. (it can look confusing to the customers, see image attached)
Challenges: * Shopify Plus offers full checkout customization but is too expensive for us to afford. * Managing each variant individually would be overwhelming due to the large number of SKUs, making CSV management a nightmare.
Attempted Solutions: * We tried using the Shopify Bundles app, but it doesn’t work with our current SKU structure, as it can't assign bundles to existing SKUs.
Potential Solutions: * Develop a custom app to manage variants and customize checkout. * Explore alternative workarounds for checkout customization without upgrading to Shopify Plus. * Open to any viable solution that resolves the issue without drastically changing our SKU structure.
