We seek an EU-based professional to serve as our representative concerning the EU General Data Protection Regulation. As a UK enterprise collecting and processing personal information of EU citizens, we require an established entity situated within the European Union to act as our representative in the EU.
The representative's responsibilities will include receiving and responding to inquiries and complaints from data subjects and supervisory authorities and to pass on this information to our Data Protection Officer.
English proficiency is mandatory. Existing clients within the EU technology, financial or ecommerce sectors would be preferable. The selected candidate will sign a data protection representative agreement and appear actively on our GDPR documentation as our established point of contact to fulfill all facets of the role from their EU country of operations.
