Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented developer to be our go-to technical expert for improving and scaling our Shopify-based e-commerce website. This role will begin with specific project tasks but has the potential to grow into a larger, ongoing collaboration as we refine and expand our platform over the coming months.
Responsibilities:
• Upgrade and optimize our Shopify site for performance, user experience, and functionality. • Integrate custom features using Vercel, GitHub, and Firebase. • Implement sustainable and personalized e-commerce solutions that align with our brand’s vision. • Collaborate with our team to define project specifications and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner. • Identify opportunities for improvements and make actionable recommendations. • Ensure website functionality and code are secure, efficient, and scalable.
Requirements:
• Expertise in Shopify: Custom theme development, API integrations, and app customization. • Proficiency with Vercel: For deploying and managing front-end updates efficiently. • GitHub: Strong version control skills and ability to collaborate in a professional development environment. • Firebase: Experience with real-time databases, hosting, and authentication solutions. • Clear communication skills: Fluent English and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members. • Proven experience delivering timely, professional results on e-commerce projects. • Ability to stay aligned with our focus on sustainability and personalization.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in luxury or high-end e-commerce projects. • Interest or experience in sustainability-focused solutions. • Ability to work collaboratively and develop a long-term working relationship.
