We seek a skilled data analyst to help us uncover insights from our customer data. Your expertise in cleaning, preprocessing, analyzing and visualizing large datasets will be invaluable as we aim to better understand customer purchasing patterns and behavior.
You will be provided with raw transaction records, customer profiles and other data sources capturing over two years of sales across multiple channels. Your primary objectives are to gain actionable business intelligence from these records and produce clear, informative visualizations and reports to share your findings with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include assessing data quality, identifying any anomalies or discrepancies, performing exploratory analysis using statistical techniques and developing predictive models. You must have strong skills in querying, aggregating and manipulating tabular data using SQL. Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics is preferred.
Presentation of results is crucial, so experience communicating insights to non-technical audiences through visually compelling dashboards and documentation is essential. The ability to think strategically and provide recommendations based on your analysis is important.
An advanced degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science or business analytics is required. Several years experience working with large datasets and applying machine learning or predictive modeling techniques to real world problems is expected. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must to liaise productively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
