We are an intellectual property company, working on verifying literary works for a client. We need somebody fluent in Cebuano, Tagalog, and/or Ilocano to help us check if certain texts have undergone copyright registration, as well as verify authors' biographical data using online resources and available databases (further training will be provided).
Key Responsibilities: - identify and verify biographical information, such as the author's date of death, if no longer alive - using provided information for the work (title/date/author), determine if the text has been registered using relevant databases - report findings to the team leader
Qualifications: - fluency in English or French, as well as Cebuano, Tagalog, Ilocano - strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - university degree (preferred) - familiarity with local copyright laws (preferred) - located in Taguig, Philippines (not required, but a bonus)
