We are seeking a talented and experienced Payment Integration Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Apple Pay and Google Pay payment options at checkout on our platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in integrating payment gateways, ensuring seamless transaction processing, and providing an optimized experience for users. Responsibilities:
Integrate Apple Pay and Google Pay as payment options during the checkout process for both mobile and desktop platforms. Ensure smooth, secure, and efficient integration of payment methods while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations (such as PCI-DSS). Work closely with cross-functional teams (front-end, back-end, and UX/UI) to ensure seamless user experience and smooth transaction flow. Optimize the checkout flow for both mobile and desktop users, enhancing the overall customer experience. Conduct thorough testing of integrated payment systems to ensure that payments are processed accurately and securely. Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors related to payment processing. Stay up-to-date with the latest payment technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure our platform remains competitive and secure. Provide support and documentation to internal teams for ongoing maintenance and updates to the payment integration. Requirements:
Proven experience with integrating Apple Pay and Google Pay into web and mobile applications. Strong knowledge of payment gateway APIs and related technologies (e.g., Stripe, Braintree, PayPal). Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and experience with mobile/web app development frameworks. Experience with server-side integration (Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar backend technologies). Familiarity with the technical requirements for Apple Pay and Google Pay, including security protocols, tokenization, and encryption. Understanding of PCI compliance and best practices for secure payment processing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other payment systems and methods (e.g., Amazon Pay, PayPal, Credit Card APIs). Knowledge of mobile app development (iOS, Android). Experience working in an Agile development environment. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
