I seek to refresh the theme of my technology and gaming focused blog. Currently, the design feels dated and could benefit from a more modern aesthetic that remains clean and easy to navigate. The blog regularly features written reviews of the latest video games, consumer electronics, and other tech products. It also publishes podcast episodes where I interview industry professionals.
The goal of the redesign is to create a visually appealing theme that maintains functionality while incorporating current design trends. Key aspects to focus on include an intuitive layout with clear categorization of content, attractive typography, and impactful imagery. Individual post and page templates should integrate cohesive branding. Optimization for mobile viewing is also important given most traffic originates from smartphones.
Some ideas I had were a minimalist approach with bold color accents or a magazine-style multicolumn layout. However, I am open to new concepts and welcome fresh perspectives from potential designers. Creativity and quality of work are prioritized over price. The selected designer will receive full access to blog admin to implement the new theme. I aim to launch the refreshed site within the next month. Candidates preferably have experience designing for similar content platforms.
