I am looking for a new accountant to manage, advise, support and consult on our multiple businesses.
We currently have businesses in Pet services and Health and Fitness with plans to branch out further in the long term. We currently have 3 ltd that need accounts looking after, some less active than others. But will have more once you come on board as we will be restructuring the company organisation. We will also plan on setting up a charitable foundation, so some advice on this would be great too.
Your tasks will include, but not limit to:
- Manage monthly accountants and bookkeeping for the businesses (or advise on if monthly would be needed or not, and why), and file relevant accounts when appropriate - advise of the best business structures - advise of fund-raising strategies for both businesses and foundation - advise on business strategy from a tax standpoint - Due Diligence of acquisitions when required.
Overall, we want someone that's going to help make and save us money and not cost us money.
We are happy for you to connect us to people that can do the tasks you're unable to but would rather keep as much in house where possible.
In your proposal, please include answers to ALL of the following questions or you won’t be considered:
- What is your month fee for the management of one business? Or for each company if you to manage all of the business? - Do you have experience in M&A? If so, what experience have you had in it? - Do you have experience in working with charitable foundations? - Have you advised on fundraising strategies or helped raise funds? If so, how and to what extent? - Do you or have you advised on business strategy before? If so, what level of experience do you have doing this? - Out of the tasks listed, rate your strengths for each from 0-100 with 0 being none, and 100 being you're the best at it. - With the listed plans and business structure, what pricing strategy would you recommend? - Outside of the typical accounting services, what else do you offer in your skill set that could benefit us? YOU MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF UPTO DATE UK TAX LAWS AND RULES. IF YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TAX LAWS AND RULES OUTSIDE OF THE UK LIKE THE USA TOO, THAT WILL BE AN ADDED BONUSES FOR OUR EXPANSION PLANS.
