I require the installation and configuration of the Apache Guacamole web application for remote desktop access on a Windows server from a distance.
The goal is just to analize and test this open-source solution to enable secure connections to various machines and applications within our internal network infrastructure.
The requester will provide the server's credentials, software license keys if required, and detailed outline of desktops/services.
The chosen bidder will be responsible for deploying Guacamole on the target machine according to best practices, ensuring all ports, protocols and dependencies are properly configured for remote access. Authentication will be set up initially against the local Windows user directory utilizing LDAP integration. Testing and validation of the installation must then be done from an off-site location to confirm troublefree login and navigation of remote desktop interfaces as intended.
Documentation of all steps taken, screenshots verifying functionality and a brief training on basic usage of the Guacamole portal will also be provided.
Support for any issues arising within a month of project completion is included. Adherence to tight deadlines and transparent communications throughout the process are expected.
The goal is to have a smooth, low maintenance virtualization solution in place to enhance productivity wherever internet is available.
