We are seeking a creative content manager to help conceive post ideas and curate content for an Instagram page aimed at mothers and their young daughters. As the curator, you will be tasked with regularly generating new, engaging concepts for posts involving parenting tips, activities, crafts, recipes and lifestyle moments tailored towards this target audience. Your ideas should aim to provide value, inspiration and community for mothers with toddlers.
In addition to developing concepts, your role will include light video editing of footage captured by the page owner. This may involve trimming, adding titles/captions and basic transitions using mobile video editing apps. Approx. 1-2 short videos (30 secs or less) would need editing per week.
You should have experience brainstorming social media post strategies for mom-focused accounts. Strong writing skills to convey ideas succinctly are essential. Familiarity with mobile video editing is preferred but not required. above all, you must enjoy spending time thinking of fresh yet practical ways to spark joy and connection among mothers in their daily routines and milestones with young children. Please provide examples of post ideas you'd suggest in your proposal to demonstrate your approach.
We seek someone who will be a consistent, dedicated curator for at least 6 months while the page builds momentum. Payment will be monthly via PayPal or check and based on achieving weekly posting and video
