Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Journalist with expertise in law, economics, or business to conduct high-profile Zoom interviews with industry leaders, academics, and professionals. This is a fully remote position that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage interviews efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Conduct pre-scripted interviews with leading figures in law, economics, and business via Zoom. Ensure a professional and engaging interview experience, following prepared questions and scripts. Perform quick text-based edits of each interview transcript (approx. 5 minutes per interview). Embed interview codes into the database for seamless content management. Maintain high journalistic standards, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all content. Collaborate with the team to align interviews with the platform’s editorial focus.
Requirements MUST HAVE A DEGREE OR MASTERS IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: law, economics, or business, or pol sci. Must have an understanding of current affairs. Excellent interviewing skills and the ability to engage with high-profile professionals. Proficiency in Zoom and basic text-based editing (no advanced video editing required). Ability to follow structured interview scripts and produce high-quality discussions. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple interviews per week. 20 hours per week availability / $400 per month: has to be on usa hours (either 10am-2pm/ 12pm-4pm eastern)
