Hello, I am looking for somebody that can help me code a calculator for my bankruptcy website that will help the user determine the cost of their bankruptcy based on information they input such as their salary, other income and expense deductions.
When they've entered all of their income and deductions this number will be compared to a number set by the government based on family size and if their total of their income minus expenses is over the limit set by the government their bankruptcy payment will have to be calculated and displayed.
The payment will be 50% of the difference between the limit and the person's total income minus deductions.
For example, the limit set by the government for a family of 1 person is $2610 a month
If the person has total income of $3000 and deductions of $200 there total take home income is $2800.
This is $190 more than the limit set by the government for a family of 1 so this person would have a bankruptcy payment of $95 a month (50% of the $190 difference)
If there total take home income is LESS than the limit set by the government, there would be no payment to make.
