I am looking for someone who specialises in growing ecommerce websites through digital marketing and social media. Someone who feels confident that they can help increase our sales, and ideally with relevant experience for brands within our field: artwork / home interiors / interior design...
As a side note, we have had some bad experience with a marketing agency before, so I feel very skeptical about people who say they can help us, and am quite nervous to be inundated by these types of responses! (We were tied into a monthly retainer scheme, and saw no results for months on end. This ended up costing us a lot of money with nothing to show for it at the end of our contract!)
We used to be relatively active on Instagram, and this is how we used to generate most of our traffic to our website. Sadly though, after a lengthy period of inactivity over my maternity leave, Instagram is now a failing channel for us! We get no interaction on our posts, and due to the change in algorithms, we are not appearing on anyone's feed!
We are a small mother-daughter business, and so budgets are very tight. We need someone who can grow our business with us using our limited funds to start, and naturally, should sales start rolling in, then we will have more money to reinvest into our digital marketing. It is important that whoever we work with is mindful of our initial small budget, and therefore is very targeted in the way we commence our digital marketing strategy. I have been told by many that we need to be going hard on Instagram, Google Adwords, Facebook, etc etc, but sadly due to budget constraints, we need to be more refined about our method and grow it together please, so that we have more money to reinvest into marketing. Equally, I am very nervous to take on a freelancer who charges at an hourly rate, as due to my inexperience in this area, I have no concept of how many hours this will end up costing...
