We are looking for an experienced AI developer to create a custom AI agent designed to assist PR Managers with two key tasks:
Finding the right journalists and media contacts for different stories.
Monitoring all brand-related coverage and generating visually impressive reports.
The AI agent will streamline PR workflows, saving time and improving efficiency.
Key Responsibilities of the AI Agent 1. Media Contact Finder - Search for journalists, bloggers, and influencers who cover specific topics, industries, or beats. - Filter contacts based on criteria such as location, publication, past articles, and social media activity. - Provide a ranked list of the most suitable media contacts for a given story. - Collect and organize contact details (email, social media handles, etc.) for identified journalists.
2. Real-Time Alerts for Proactive Pitching - Monitor news outlets, blogs, and social media for articles or posts related to your brand or industry. - Send real-time alerts to PR Managers when relevant articles are published, including: - Article title, summary, and link. - Key journalists or authors associated with the article. - Suggested pitching opportunities based on the news cycle. - Contact information of the journalists - Allow customization of alert criteria (e.g., keywords, topics, or specific journalists).
3. Media Coverage Monitor - Search for all brand-related coverage across news articles, blogs, and social media posts. - Analyze sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) and track trends over time. - Capture screenshots of articles and social media posts for inclusion in reports. - Maintain a database of coverage, including publication names, dates, and reach metrics.
4. Reporting - Generate visually aesthetic and professional reports that include: - Summaries of brand coverage. - Screenshots of articles and social media posts. - Data on publications (e.g., domain authority, reach, audience demographics). - Sentiment analysis and trend graphs. - Allow customization of report templates to match brand guidelines.
Technical Requirements - Natural Language Processing (NLP): Analyze journalists' work, brand coverage, and breaking news for relevance and sentiment. - Web Scraping/API Integration: Pull data from media databases, news websites, and social media platforms in real time. - Real-Time Alert System: Implement a notification system (e.g., email, Slack, or in-app alerts) for immediate updates. - Data Visualization: Create visually appealing reports with charts, graphs, and screenshots. - Customizable Filters: Allow users to set filters for industries, topics, locations, or timeframes. - User-Friendly Dashboard: Provide an intuitive interface for searching contacts, monitoring coverage, and generating reports.
Ideal Candidate - Proven experience in building AI agents, chatbots, or data-driven tools, particularly for business applications. - Strong background in machine learning, NLP, and data analysis. - Familiarity with media databases or PR workflows is a plus. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. - Experience with API integration, web scraping tools, and real-time notification systems. - Ability to deliver a scalable, maintainable, and well-documented solution.
