Looking for experienced developer to join our team on a project focusing on geospatial data management and visualization. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of the following technologies:
Python: Deep familiarity with processing geospatial data.
PostGIS: Skilled in managing and querying spatial databases.
GeoPandas: Expertise in geospatial data manipulation and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop efficient workflows for geospatial data management. Process and analyze datasets using Python and GeoPandas. Build and execute optimized spatial queries in PostGIS. Assist with debugging and improving existing code.
Bonus Skills (Fullstack Capabilities): Applicants with additional expertise in front-end or full-stack development will be given special consideration. Proficiency in the following is highly desirable:
Mapbox Studio and Mapbox GL JS for creating interactive map experiences. Next.js and TypeScript for developing modern, high-performing web applications. Requirements: Proven experience with geospatial technologies. Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Availability for regular communication and collaboration in a remote work environment.
