I have a Shopify store where we sell made-to-measure products; currently, Shopify only gives you the ability to add 2 variations, such as size and colour.
We need 5 variations in total for one of our products.

I currently have a third-party app installed that does this for me. However, the app is really slow, so when they click "add to basket," it spins for about 10 seconds before adding the item to the basket. For this reason, I'd like to add a custom code to Shopify that would allow us to have more variations available.
There are two websites where this needs to be installed on.
Here is an example of what it looks like now, we need this but an actual coded version that doesn't cause add to basket delays
