Childhood Cancer Survivor, worked with pediatric oncology patients, career first responder of 32 years, sober alcoholic...... effects of these afformetioned experiences and life lessons.... I'm seeking an experienced editor and writer to assist me with my memoir. The project involves working with several short stories and cathartic writings I've put together. The ideal freelancer should be skilled in: - Editing & proofreading: I need someone with a keen eye for detail to ensure the writing is polished and error-free. - Structuring & organizing stories: My writings are a bit scattered and require someone who can help to create a coherent narrative. - Adding new content: I'm open to someone who can help expand on my ideas or introduce new relevant content. Attached are examples of my life experiences, drafted from cathartic writing. Some incomplete. Frankly, as I have ventured through the traumas of life, the writing I found therapeutic. It became painful to go back through and edit what I had eventualy processed and put behind me. I'm in the approaching dusk of my career as a first responder,.. life and death of most every description I've experienced, acute and chronic; as well as how it had effected those around it. If my work can help one person, if my story can aid one family or another first responder, or perhaps provide my own family with better understanding, it's worth it. Perhaps not, it's just a collection of healing I've put on paper that sense can't be made of. I don't have much money, but if a small investment can produce a fruitful direction, and hopeful finish, I'll be happy to pursue it.
