We require an experienced database designer to help optimize the backend architecture of our customer relationship management system. The current database which powers our Node.js based CRM platform is in need of restructuring to support scalability goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing relational databases using MySQL along with deep knowledge of database normalization techniques. As our systems see continuing growth, a redesigned schema is needed to accommodate more data and users efficiently. Some key objectives of this project include improving query performance, reducing data redundancies, enabling facets for advanced searching and reporting. The new model should follow best practices for security, integrity and maintainability. Applicants should detail their experience with comparable projects, outlining approaches taken to solve related challenges. Portfolios highlighting SQL design skills are encouraged. We welcome proposals from freelancers comfortable navigating both backend infrastructure as well as front-end CRM features.
