We are seeking an experienced and talented wedding designer to help plan and design the visual elements for an upcoming 150 person wedding. Your role will be to work closely with the bride and groom to implement their vision for an elegant and memorable celebration. You should have an eye for design details and strong organizational skills to manage all visual aspects of the event.
Some key responsibilities will include creating initial concept boards and mood images to convey the overall aesthetic, selecting color palettes and decorative elements, recommending and coordinating floral arrangements, choosing table linens and chairs, planning lighting and ambiance techniques, overseeing setup and floor plan designs, procuring decor rentals, and assisting with coordination of vendors. You must have experience designing a variety of wedding styles from traditional to modern. Knowledge of current trends is preferable.
Successful candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience exclusively in wedding design and planning. Portfolios showcasing your creativity, skills with different themes, and high quality work are required. You should be able to work within our budget to deliver stunning results. Reliability, flexibility to adapt to changes, and exemplary communication skills are essential as we navigate the wedding planning process. Proficiency with design software like Photoshop orCANVA is preferred.
