I am seeking an accomplished organizational structure and human resources professional to review and refine the content of a forthcoming book on organizational design. The manuscript explores various approaches to structuring organizations to maximize efficiency, productivity and employee engagement.
Your expertise in crafting optimal organizational frameworks and corporate structures will be invaluable in strengthening the accuracy and utility of the content. As an advisor on this project, your role will be to thoroughly examine each chapter, offering editorial feedback on how to enhance clarity of concepts, ensure terminology is used precisely, and recommend additional perspectives or areas for development.
Candidates considered for this role must have a minimum of five years' experience advising corporations on organizational design and restructuring initiatives. Applicants' letters of interest should provide examples of projects they have led that involved evaluating an organization's hierarchy, departmental configuration, spans of control, mapping reporting relationships and more. The selected candidate will have a proven track record of helping companies determine the operational design best suited to support their business strategy, culture and goals.
In addition to organization design expertise, a background in human resources management is preferable. Understanding how to align business units, roles and processes with human capital requirements will allow for a holistic review providing both strategic and functional recommendations. The ideal candidate will have undergone certification or have academic credentials in areas of HR leadership.
