I seek an experienced YouTube consultant to launch and shepherd a new channel. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of helping fledgling YouTube creators find their footing and get acclimated to the platform. Your role will be twofold - first, set up the technical infrastructure like creating the channel, optimizing profiles/metadata, and configuring backend settings to maximize discoverability and engagement. Secondly, provide strategic guidance and best practices for content planning, production, promotion, and community cultivation. Experience with video editing is a plus, as there may be opportunities to take on minor post-production tasks as the channel grows.
This independent contractor role offers flexibility to work remotely while collaborating online. The initial setup and consultation phase will require weekly check-ins via phone/video chat to establish goals, implement your recommendations, and address any questions that arise. Once the channel is up and running, expect to meet 2-3 times per month to review analytics, refine strategy, and ensure smooth operations. Success will be measured both quantitatively through subscriber/view growth as well as qualitatively through my improved understanding and enjoyment of the YouTube experience.
