Overview: I'm building a simple iPhone app to help golfers locate their ball after teeing off by marking an estimated landing zone and guiding the user as they walk within that area.
Core Features (MVP):
Launch camera view and mark estimated landing spot via tap (save GPS coordinate)
Generate a circular search zone (e.g. 15m radius)
Track user location with CoreLocation
Vibrate when user enters the zone, stop when they exit
Show live map with:
User position
Search zone
Heatmap showing where the user has walked
Simple, clean UI (SwiftUI or UIKit)
Optional: Apple Watch vibration support (can be V2)
Requirements:
Built in Swift for iOS (iPhone only)
Use CoreLocation for live tracking
Haptic feedback when inside the zone
Delivered as a clean Xcode project
Developer must have experience with location-aware apps and SwiftUI or UIKit
Deliverables:
Working iOS app (TestFlight or build)
Source code + brief setup notes
Option to extend to v2 with Apple Watch and AR later
