We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to be part of our product development. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the flawless functionality, usability, and performance of our website. You will be the first line of defense against bugs, working closely with our developers to identify, document, and track issues, ultimately contributing to a superior user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough manual testing of our website across various browsers, devices, and operating systems to identify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and design specifications. - Accurately document, categorize, and prioritize bugs using our issue tracking system (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello). - Clearly communicate reproducible steps for identified bugs to developers. - Participate in sprint planning and stand-up meetings to provide QA insights and updates. - Provide constructive feedback on user experience and design elements. - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in web quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (X+ years, e.g., 2+ years) in manual QA testing for websites or web applications. - Strong understanding of web technologies (back & front end) and how they impact website functionality. - Experience with various testing methodologies (e.g., functional testing, usability testing). - Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management tools. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. - A strong user-centric mindset.
