Expected duration: More than 6 months We are looking for a highly skilled video editor with expertise in creating high-converting Video Sales Letters (VSLs) for our supplement brand. The ideal candidate understands the psychology of persuasive video marketing and has experience producing engaging, results-driven VSLs that capture attention and drive conversions. In addition to VSL expertise, we need someone who can leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency, streamline the editing process, and deliver high-quality videos quickly. This role requires a balance of speed, precision, and creativity to produce visually compelling content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals. Responsibilities:
• Edit and enhance raw video footage to create polished, engaging, and professional content. • Edit and enhance Video Sales Letters (VSLs) for marketing campaigns. • Utilize AI-powered editing tools (e.g., Runway ML, Descript, Adobe Sensei, etc.) to accelerate workflow. • Implement engaging visual effects, transitions, and text overlays that boost viewer engagement. • Ensure high-quality sound design, voiceover synchronization, and script pacing for maximum impact. • Optimize videos for different platforms (social media, websites, landing pages). • Collaborate with our marketing team to align video content with branding and messaging. • Deliver projects quickly without compromising quality. • Apply color correction, sound editing, motion graphics, transitions, and effects to enhance video quality. • Trim and organize footage to ensure smooth storytelling and logical flow. • Add subtitles, captions, and on-screen text when required. • Optimize videos and ensuring aspect ratios and file formats match platform requirements. • Collaborate with our team to incorporate branding, messaging, and visual elements into videos. • Implement feedback and revisions quickly to ensure timely delivery. • Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and social media video trends.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in editing Video Sales Letters (VSLs), direct response marketing, or digital advertising. • Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent). • Strong understanding of VSL scripting, editing pacing, and retention strategies. • Experience editing videos for supplement brands, health & wellness, or DTC brands (preferred). • Experience using AI tools to enhance video editing speed and efficiency. • Strong understanding of marketing psychology and how video content influences consumer behavior. • Strong knowledge of YouTube, Facebook, and paid advertising video best practices. • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results fast. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines. • Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback. • Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement strategies. • Experience with motion graphics and animations is a plus. • Experience in audio enhancement, background music selection, and noise reduction is a plus.
