I'm looking for a UK experienced highways engineer/designer with experience of designing against both the manual for streets and design manual for roads and bridges. I'm looking for someone that is essentially self-employed who I can provide ad hoc instructions to, most of which will relate to concept plans to consider different access alternatives to housing sites. In some cases it may require more detailed plans such as design drawings and cross sections for section 278 agreements. Specifically, I'm not looking for an architect or CAD technician, I want someone with specific highways design/ engineering experience. Pease provide examples of experience.
