We seek a skilled web designer to develop a user-friendly website for a temporary housing organization. The site will have 4-5 informational pages promoting the services offered to those in need of emergency accommodations. Content and some base images will be provided to the designer.
The overarching goal is to craft a simple yet professional digital presence that clearly conveys the mission of the organization and details available housing options. Applicants should demonstrate experience designing clean, accessible websites employing best practices for usability and navigation. A responsive design adaptating gracefully to any device is required.
The project timeline is approximately two weeks and the finished product must meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards. Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 and a modern front-end framework is expected. Candidates with a portfolio highlighting similar work for social service non-profits are strongly preferred.
