The source material consists of five pages of mechanical and architectural plans contained within a single PDF document. The goal is to have these schematics reconstructed as editable layer-based DWG files to facilitate downstream modification and revision. Familiarity with both AutoCAD and technical/engineering illustration is necessary to properly transition lines, dimensions, hatches and other details from their current raster appearance into intelligent vector objects. Additional tasks may include basic cleanup and organization of layers, text, blocks and other CAD elements to optimize the files for continued usage in a professional design environment. Experience handling such file conversions with care and precision is important as the newly digitized drawings will serve as the foundation for potential design refinements. The completed AutoCAD files should be returned to me no later than 6 pm Eastern Time today in order to keep the project on schedule.
