We are producing a global project and require support in researching and gathering social media data and content.
We are looking for a researcher with experience in social listening, data scraping, and content analysis across platforms such as Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and Facebook.
Tasks:
Identify and track posts using a provided list of global keywords/hashtags.
Extract post data (date, platform, engagement metrics, sentiment, country where available).
Export into CSV/Excel format for analysis.
Provide links to relevant posts and videos, and where possible capture short excerpts/screenshots.
Use tools/software (e.g. Brandwatch, Meltwater, Talkwalker, CrowdTangle, X API, TikTok scrapers).
Organise results into categories (e.g. by theme, geography, sentiment).
Deliverables:
Master spreadsheet of posts (keywords, date, engagement, platform, region).
Folder of screenshots / video excerpts with links.
Short summary report (key themes, volume trends, notable accounts).
Requirements: Demonstrated experience in social media data gathering and analysis.
Access to (or ability to recommend) tools for ethical and legal scraping/social listening.
Strong attention to detail and ability to present findings clearly.
Budget: To be agreed — please quote hourly or per-project.
