We’re building community-focused real estate websites that:
Showcase listings via BrightMLS IDX/RETS/RESO feeds. Highlight neighborhood-specific branding, photos, history, and events and share common content (resources, contractor lists, swag shop). Serve as a community hub and position us as local real estate experts.
Additionally, we want to rebuild our main site to integrate seamlessly with these community sites and serve as the central hub.
Scope:
Set up WordPress Multisite (or equivalent) for subdomains and integrate BrightMLS data feed (IDX/RETS/RESO). Add blogging and vlogging capabilities across all sites and update to modern mobile responsive design. Create reusable templates for listings, market reports, events, neighborhood resources, and newsletter signup. Design unique layouts for each community. Set up e-commerce module for swag sales and optimize for SEO and site performance.
Skills Required: Full-stack WordPress development (themes + plugins). IDX/MLS/RETS/RESO feed integration (BrightMLS a plus). WordPress Multisite or equivalent CMS setup. Blogging/vlogging integration (YouTube/Vimeo).
Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JS, responsive/mobile-first design. Back-end: PHP/MySQL. SEO and performance optimization.
Bonus: WooCommerce or Shopify Lite experience.
Deliverables: Rebuild the main website as the central hub. Scalable framework for several sites. Admin-friendly backend for content management.
