We are seeking an experienced freelance bookkeeper or accounting professional to support a mechanical & electrical construction business with accounts catch-up and compliance work.
Scope of Work The engagement will involve: Reviewing and organising company financial records for the current year Updating bookkeeping data using cloud-based accounting software Preparing reports and reconciliations for VAT and CIS compliance Setting up efficient processes for ongoing bookkeeping and reporting (Note: Access to accounting software and relevant records will be provided — all work must be carried out in compliance with UK accounting and tax requirements.)
Requirements Strong bookkeeping and accounting experience Familiarity with cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero) Understanding of UK VAT and CIS Excellent attention to detail and reliability
