Background: At the moment we keep a big excel spreadsheet with different tabs for different sellers. Each tab has different calculations on it to come to a price, and then it copies them all in a big sheet which we then tidy up and upload onto my current website. The current sheet uploads as a Macintosh formatted csv file. I am after putting this into a program online to make it easier, plus for it to show more information than I have currently. I have a laravel site built at the moment which I'd like to add to, as the data at the moment shows DVLA registrations and when they were sold. This could therefore add to that.
A quick page by page view would be:
Admin
VIEW Search for registration This will show all data on who has a registration now and in the past, along with price and date uploaded
DEALER List of dealer in the database in alphabetical order Add dealer - will show to add Dealers name, contact number, whether vat, and makeup required - %or£. Tick box to round up to nearest 9.99 Amend dealer - as above Delete dealer
UPLOAD LIST Select dealer from list. This will then upload the latest list to the dealer. The list won’t overwrite the dealer data, but will add to it with today’s date. Anything listed with previous dates will not be live and downloadable. .
DELETE Delete the registration. This will then delete it from the current sellers shown. However if a new update shows it, it will come back live again. Delete one of the lists if uploaded by mistake.
DOWNLOAD This will give 4 options 1. Primo stock in csv format - reg, price 2. Primo commissions in csv format - reg, price 3. Primo commissions & ebay listings (dealer upload) - reg, price 4. WEBSITE UPDATE - all live registrations in the database - reg, price, vat (1 or 0) contact email, name -
Notes:- Must be able to upload comma separated or tab separated txt files Must be able to upload comma separated or tab separated csv files Must be able to upload comma separated or tab separated excel files If the price uploaded is empty, POA or ZERO then it must not be downloadable
