I run a live booking platform built in PHP + MySQL. The site works, but before continuing development, I need an experienced PHP/MySQL developer to: 1️⃣ Audit the existing codebase This includes reviewing backend logic (booking flow, pricing logic, automated emails/notifications, database structure and customer/assessor workflow), not just the visible front-end code. Review the current structure Check logic behind the booking/payment flow Identify any messy or legacy code that may cause scaling issues Confirm what’s built properly and what will need rewriting or optimising 2️⃣ Fix Google indexing issues The site is live but many pages are not indexing. I need: Sitemap and canonical structure reviewed Validation of meta/indexing rules Confirmation pages + dynamic pages handled correctly Any no-index / crawl issues resolved 3️⃣ Document findings & next-step recommendations After the audit, I want: A short report (bullet points are fine) covering: What’s working What’s broken What should be improved What should be prioritised now vs later Rough cost/time estimate for carrying out recommended improvements Optional (only if quick): Fix any small bugs you find during the audit. Requirements Strong PHP + MySQL experience (not WordPress/PHP theme developers) Experience working with or improving existing codebases Understanding of best practices for automation, booking logic, or SaaS-style systems Good communication and ability to explain technical findings simply Budget £150–£250 for the audit. If the indexing fix is small/simple, include it. If it requires additional work, provide a separate quote after the audit. Further development may follow based on the findings.
