Description:
We are building a custom discovery and intake portal inside Zoho CRM for a residential window replacement business. The interface will be used live during inbound sales calls, so speed, clarity, and reliability are critical. A visual mockup of the discovery portal workflow and Zoho → Vendo integration is attached to illustrate the intended interface and system architecture. The portal will be built using Zoho CRM Canvas and Deluge scripting and must integrate with our existing Vendo estimating workflow. Project Overview The goal is to build a structured discovery interface inside the Zoho CRM Contacts module that allows our sales team to quickly capture property and product details during a live phone call and trigger the estimate workflow. Canvas Interface (3-Column Layout) Column 1 – Property Intelligence Address fields with ZIP validation VERIFY ADDRESS button (trigger existing Deluge function) Embedded Google Street View preview Quick research links (Zillow, Realtor, County Tax) Column 2 – Live Intake Phone formatting Numeric steppers for window/door counts Window style selection grid (2×3 layout) Interior and exterior color swatch selectors Glass option checkboxes Multi-line discovery notes field Column 3 – Assets & Workflow WorkDrive photo upload zones (4 slots) Status indicators for enrichment and sync processes Conditional SEND TO VENDO workflow button Workflow Logic The SEND TO VENDO button should: Validate required intake data Trigger a Deluge function Use Deluge invokeURL to send the intake data payload to the Vendo API Update the Zoho CRM record after the estimate is created This will involve Deluge scripting and external API interaction. Vendo Integration Documentation The Vendo estimating platform provides documentation for CRM integrations. Developers can review the documentation here: https://help.paradigmvendo.com/en/ This documentation explains how external CRM systems connect to Vendo using API or integration configuration.
