I am looking for a skilled and experienced social media manager to take full ownership of my newly created Facebook and TikTok channels, as well as my website blog at (techprivy)
I want to be upfront about something before you apply. I am a social media manager myself, so I know the work well. I am not looking for someone to teach. I am simply too busy to give these channels the attention they deserve, and I need someone who can step in, take charge and deliver results without needing constant direction from me.
The role covers three main areas. On the social media side, you will be responsible for creating and posting engaging content on both Facebook and TikTok on a consistent basis, growing the audience and making sure the community is being looked after through timely responses to comments and messages.
On the blog side, you will be uploading and publishing content to the Techprivy website, making sure each post is properly formatted, SEO friendly and in line with the brand tone. I will provide the content direction and brand guidelines after that, I expect you to run with it.
The person I am looking for has real, demonstrable experience managing social media channels for a brand or an agency. You should be comfortable working with a CMS like WordPress to publish and format blog posts, have a strong command of written English and genuinely understand what makes content work on TikTok versus Facebook.
Experience in the tech or digital marketing space would be a bonus but it is not a dealbreaker. What matters most is that you are reliable, proactive and able to manage your own workflow without needing to be chased.
Payment will be made every two weeks. Please include your proposed rate when you apply. I would also love to see examples of accounts or content you have managed. Links to live pages or a portfolio go a long way.
