I have a website called forum.moomie.co.za which was built on Joomla.
I want to transfer that to wordpress, that is already installed on moomie.co.za.
However, the forum itself - will have to be rebuilt on a wordpress forum, like bbpress etc. It can be started from scratch with the categories etc. All the content of the forum doesn’t need to be transferred but colour and looks wise it has to look somewhat the same and girly.
Women must be able to register on the forum, which I approve manually, to keep out spammers. Under each article section (you can see it on the forum.moomie.co.za site) the forum that correlates with that category must be rss’ed in so that people are “called” to register on the forum and start chatting.
I am redoing the logo. I will install google analytics myself.
The article aspect of the site has to be taken over to wordpress (there is a way, I must just research), otherwise I will be doing the articles - only the English ones - manually since I will be sharing it on Facebook etc.
However, the layout has to be done correctly and that I will do myself, it just takes me much longer than for someone like you.
The layout will look similar to find-it.co.za - again, just more girly.
The "work" would be to get the forum to look cool (its currently on Kunena) and then to get the article section to line up - through Blocksy theme, which is what find it is built on, but that is easy.
